The Grand Théâtre de Genève
Bodenmann has revolutionized the interior spaces of the Grand Théâtre de Genève, transforming this iconic cultural venue with a series of improvements focused on functionality and aesthetics. The project includes the installation of acoustic doors and glazing, essential for maintaining high-quality acoustics while ensuring the tranquility of the performances. The tiered seating, constructed from refined oak, and the bronzed brass details enrich the space with noble and durable touches.
The artist reception area and the entrance hall are distinguished by their EI 30 glass doors, which merge safety with a clean design. The ticket office and the bar, specially designed in oak, integrate perfectly into the overall aesthetic, reinforcing the theater’s visual harmony. The lounge areas feature backlit bars, creating an intimate and welcoming atmosphere, ideal for gathering during intermissions.
The improvements are not limited to public spaces. The artists’ dressing rooms have been meticulously redesigned to combine aesthetics and functionality. Wooden ceilings and brass handrails add a dimension of comfort and style, making each dressing room a space that is both practical and pleasant.
The project completed by Bodenmann at the Grand Théâtre de Genève perfectly illustrates how innovation and attention to detail can transform a space, making it both high-performing for artists and welcoming for the public. Every improvement made contributes to establishing the theater as a leading cultural site, optimized to enrich every experience.
